Brandi Downham is a 2-D mixed media artist concentrating on memory and space. Determined to remember, Brandi uses a variety of painting and drawing techniques to document personal moments and recreate still spaces.
As the daughter and granddaughter to contractors, Brandi was often exposed to construction material. Inspired by architecture and structure, these elements are often incorporated in her work.
The tragic loss of her grandfather as a teenager fuels her determination to recreate memories and utilize architecture in her body of work.
Currently, Brandi is active in the local art community. She is co-founder of Gesture Studios in Bricktown Oklahoma
